A private Lagoon 46, named for my dad’s favorite goodbye.
We’re Lara & Michael.
We met as paramedics, raised three kids (Brennen, Leo and Carmella), and somewhere along the way fell down a rabbit hole of YouTube sailing videos. We knew we had to try it. Then we saw her, and that was it: love at first sight.

The story behind the name.
My dad, Tony Tocco, was a big Sicilian-American family man. He and his wife Carla raised five girls, and he ran the family food business with his father and brothers.
Dad said goodbye with a warm “Ciao for now,” so the moment we saw her, we knew exactly what to call her. It fits a charter perfectly: the end of your week aboard isn’t goodbye, it’s just ciao for now, until you sail with us again. And with his words on her hull, Papa comes along on every charter.
Until we sail again.
